Stargazers marvel at 'Blood Moon', rare total lunar eclipse

Stargazers gathered at the Manuel Foster Observatory in Santiago, Chile, to view the red "Blood Moon" during a rare total lunar eclipse. 

Director of Scientific Activities at Manuel Foster Observatory expressed as the "very exciting phenomena” which help to reconnect with more romantic side of astronomy that motivated to study it". Stargazers across a swathe of the world marveled at a dramatic red "Blood Moon" during a rare total lunar eclipse in the early hours of Friday morning.
