Stakeholders Workshop:Consultation for STI Roadmap and Strategies Development

Initiated by the 2022 Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund, a Workshop on Stakeholders’ Consultation for the Myanmar Science, Technology and Innovation Roadmap and Strategies Development was held at MingalarThiri Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday in the presence of Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw.

The workshop focused on matters pertaining the current science, technology and innovation development activities, necessities and gaps,  the Myanmar Science, Technology and Innovation Roadmap (Draft), strategic goals and further work implementations.

This the 4th edition of the workshop, and it aims to develop systematic governace of science and technology, to create effective methods in nurturing qualified human resources, to provide necessary and modern technology assistance in thriving MSME enterprises, to enhance the collaborative practices of relevant organizations, universities and research departments as well as to find out new approaches and strategies for the best outcomes in implementing roadmap and further work projects.
