Spreading Misinformation: False news on incident on Monywa Circular Road

The Illegal media outlet “KhitThit” has been propagating on social media, alleging that an innocent civilian was killed by the Tatmadaw near Kanma Village on Monywa Circular Road in Sagaing Region on 7th June.

A local security official refuted the incident, asserting that members of security forces never conduct the unlawful acts to the civilians, and they are serving duties for peace and tranquility of the community, following the existing laws. The Illegal media outlets are intentionally spreading misinformation and disinformation to cause misunderstanding and panic among the public.
