Spreading fake news: Accused Security members of setting fire

The fake news and disinformation based on the unreliable facts accused the security members of setting fire to Htantapin Village on Kalay-Tamu Road about 10 miles apart to the south of Tamu Township of Sagaing Region on December 3rd and 2 villages of Ponnagyun Township of Rakhine State are being spread on the social network pages.

According to the answers of the responsible officials serving duty on security measures in the regions mentioned above and local residents to the question on the incidences, there was no activities of the security members in the aforesaid villages and vicinity.

Those are just the intentional circulations of the illegal destructive medias aiming at frightening of local residents, regional stability disorder and creating distrust of the people on the security members.
