Spreading Disinformation: Illegal media outlets are disseminating fake news

The illegal media outlets have been spreading fake news and disinformation, alleging that more than 10 people were killed as a result of the security forces arresting and killing during the security measure at Min Hla and Kyauk Taga townships in Bago region.

The truth is so-called PDF terrorist attacked the security forces when conducting the security measures in Min Hla and Kyak Taga townships on 29th and 31st May, so the security forces had to return fire and were seized 2 dead bodies, 2 handmade guns and some explosive devices.

According to the security officer, it is not true that people were killed and arrested by security forces. The Illegal media outlets are disseminating fake news on social media platforms in order to divert the acts of terrorist and mislead the public on the law enforcement tasks of security forces.
