Spreading Disinformation: Fake News on incident in Kalay Township

The illegal destructive media outlets are deliberately spreading misinformation alleging that the security forces launched heavy weapon attack on Tinthar Village in Kalay Township of Sagaing Region on 29th of May. The outlets claimed that 4 civilians were killed and 7 were injured due to the attack.

A security official refuted these allegations, asserting that the security forces are conducting necessary security operation near Tinthar Village to ensure peace and stability within the region, and there was no heavy weapon attack on residential areas.

The subversive media outlets are intentionally spreading misinformation through social media platforms to sow discord among security forces and public and to harm the peace and stability of the nation.
