Spreading Disinformation: Allegations of travel restrictions for Rakhine Youths

The alleged fake news on social media platforms claims that Rakhine youths aged between 18 to 35 have been restricted from traveling by air from Yangon to Rakhine State as of February 24.

However, a security officer from Yangon Region has refuted these claims, asserting that there is no such restriction in place. The dissemination of fabricated news by illegal subversive media outlets aims to incite panic among the public and undermine peace and stability in the country.
