Sports Sector: Union Minister makes inspections in Ayeyawaddy Region

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan inspected the sports stadium and gym in Nyaungdon Township of Ayeyawaddy Region on Tuesday.

During the inspection, he fulfilled the requirements submitted by the officials and provided the sports equipment.  Next, the Union Minister and party inspected the sports gym in Maubin Township, gave necessary instructions and provided sports equipment.

Next, the Union Minister cordially met with staff from Maubin district office, gave necessary instructions and assistance. He also inspected the basketball court and gave necessary instructions for the construction of one-story building. The Union Minister also met with the former Myanmar national basketball player who won a silver medal in the 5th peninsular games and provided cash assistance, inspected Maubin sports stadium and gave necessary instructions and assistance to the staff.
