Sports Sector : Union Minister Inspects Sports Equipment

Chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung together with the officials inspected the sports equipment of the Myanmar sports delegation that will take part in the 33rd SEA Games to be held from 9th to 20th December 2025.

The Union Minister called the concerned officials to provide the necessary and standard sports equipment in order to be supportive in Myanmar’s sports sector. After that, the Union Minister looked into the completion of renovation works for Wunna Theikdi Stadium (A) damaged by the Mandalay Earthquake.

There, the Union Minister made instructions on the durability of the stadium and to be able to withstand the natural disasters. He also made further instructions on the cleaning and greening of the stadium’s environs.
