Sports Sector : Football Tournament and athletes’ training sessions

Final match of Inter-Universities Football Tournament marking the International Youth Day 2025 was held in State Football ground of Taunggyi on 9th of August.

Chief Minister U Aung Aung, State ministers, officials and enthusiast enjoyed the final match where Taunggyi University team beat Technological University with 3-0. At the awarding ceremony, prizes including best player and goal keeper were presented by officials while the Chief Minister presented individual medals, cash award and trophy to the winning team, Taunggyi University.

Then, the Chief Minister and party observed the practicing of Fusal who will be participate in State and Region Fusal Competition (Men) 2025 and provided cash assistance. They also inspected the accommodations arrangement for athletes who will compete in the competition hosted by Shan State. Later, they met with track and fields athletes and provided cash assistance.
