Sports Sector: Chief Minister attends awarding ceremony in Magway

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended the awarding ceremony for the Magway University 2023/2024 Academic Year Men Sepaktakraw and Men/Women Volleyball and Badminton competitions.

First, The Chief Minister and officials enjoyed the final matches of the Men/Women Badminton competition. And, awards were presented to the best players and winning teams in the competitions. It’s reported that these competitions are preparations for the 5th National Sports Festival to be held in December to further improve national sports standard, to ensure success at the 2025 33rd SEA games and other international sports festivals, to promote national sports standard, to cement interstate/ region and inter-ministry friendship, accelerate the sports movement and arouse the public interest in sports.
