Sports Facilities: MOSYA Union Minister inspects sports facilities in Yangon

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan visited the Swimming Pool in Dagon Myothit North on Saturday, and inspected the construction of two-storey spectator seating. 120 x 40 ft wide facility is under construction with the allotment of 571 million kyats from Union budget.

The Union Minister instructed to complete the project within the targeted time with meeting the set standard. He also instructed for construction of children swimming pool, lighting around the pool and cleanliness of swimming pool. 

The Union Minister later arrived at Myanmar Shooting Sport Federation and viewed the training of the shooters. He also provided the needs of sport gears for international competitions.

On arrival at Padetha Sports Ground in South Okkapala Township, the Union Minister instructed for systematic maintenance of the Synthetic Runway. He also inspected the construction of 4-storey hostel being constructed by spending over 1.36 billion kyats allotted by Yangon Region Government.

It is 170 x 50 ft wide facility, and the Union Minister instructed for timely completion of the project. He also inspected 150 x 60 wide 2-storey spectator seating which is being constructed by spending over 805 million kyats allotted from the Union budget.
