Sports Events :Track and Field Tournament kicked off in Magway

Magway Region Government organized 2024 Inter- Township Chief Minister’s Cup U-18 Men and Women Track and Field Tournament at Region Sports Ground on Thursday.

The opening ceremony was attended by Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, officials and responsible persons. After delivering an opening speech by the Chief Minister, the ceremony was formally opened. The first day event saw 500-meter race for Men/Women, men long jump, men/women shot put events and 400meter race for men/women.

The 2024 Magway Region Chief Minister’s Cup Inter-Township U-18 Men and Women Track and Field Tournament is schedule to be held from 4th to 7th July to select the best athletes for the 5th National Sports Festival and to trun out outstanding athletes for bringing prestige to the nation.
