Sports Development: Union Minister visits Sports and Physical Education Institute

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan visited the Sports and Physical Education Institute in Yangon on Thursday.

He met with the students and urged them to strive not only in sports but also in their school lessons to bring honor to the country. He added that plans have been made to select outstanding new talent from the institute for the upcoming 33rd SEA Games, which will be held in Thailand in 2025.

During a subsequent meeting with the staff of the institute and the Yangon Region Sports and Physical Education Department, the Union Minister emphasized that everyone must be diligent in serving the development of the department and the country as a whole.

During the meeting, food provisions were presented to the staff, cash donations were provided to the Welfare Committee of the Institute, and exercise books were supplied to the Sports and Education Combined High School.
