Sports and Youth Thingyan: Union Minister visits Walking Thingyan

Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs held the Walking Thingyan on Friday at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw. Union Minister U Min Thein Zan and many other officials visited the Walking Thingyan site to view those participating both in the water festival and charity feast.

This festival included the Myanmar traditional Thingyan dance performances and fitness dance. There, the Union Minister presented cash awards to those staging the performances. He also visited the pavilion where Myanmar and Cambodian athletes celebrating the Myanmar traditional Thingyan with water splashing and performances.
