Sport Sector: Cricket Coach and Referee (Advanced) Course

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan on Monday addressed the opening of the Cricket Coach and Referee (Advanced) Course No. (1/2024) in Nay Pyi Taw.

In his address, the Union Minister said that the state and regional competitions include cricket in order to develop the sport of cricket and make it accessible to the young generation. The country's distinguished athletes and administrators/coaches who have won medals in international sports competitions have been awarded by successive national governments.

The Union Minister urged the trainees to recruit and train the new generation of cricket athletes in order to spread the sport of cricket.The sports sector plays an important role in the development of healthy human resources, the Union Minister added. This Cricket Coach and Referee (Advanced) Course No. (1/2024) joined by 29 trainees is set to take place till the 7th of June, it’s reported.
