Sport Sector :2023 Under 18 Track and Field competition

Aiming to promise the friendship among ethnic people, to develop the health sector of the youth and for the emergence of new Track and Field athletes across the country, the 2023 Under 18 Track and Field competitions were held at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw.

400x4 meter track and field Men/Women competition, Javelin throw Men/Women competition, high jump Women competition and triple jump Men competition were held on Wednesday at the stadium. And awards presenting ceremony was also held after the competition and the Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, Deputy Minister and officials presented awards to the outstanding athletes respectively.

The 2023 Under 18 Track and Field Competition was held from 29th May to 1st June and a total of 520 athletes and coaches from 15 teams of regions and states participated in the competition. It’s learnt.
