Special Refresher Training Course: UCSB Chairman addressed the completion ceremony

The Completion Ceremony of the Batch 73 Special Refresher Training Course for basic education teachers was held at Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar) on Friday with the attendance of the Chairman of Union Civil Service Board U Aung Thaw, Director General, Rector of Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar), pro-rectors, concerned officials and invited guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board pointed out the importance of individual skill of the basic education school teachers to be able to serve the duties of the nation systematically and to nurture the youths to become good leaders who can contribute the nation in numerous ways.

During the training, comprehensive and valuable courses including policy of the nation, security and defence measures of the nation, economic and social affairs, human resource development, enhancement of teaching and management skill, dental health awareness, laws and by-laws of the civil servants were provided.

It’s necessary to apply the knowledge and experiences gained from the training in classrooms effectively as the basic education schools are the very first place of the students where they can develop important life skills and prepare for future education challenges to become qualified citizens. 

As the government is making exerted efforts in developing the nation in line with the 5-point road map and 9 objectives, the trainees are urged to make concerted efforts in promoting the nation’s education sector.

Then, the Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board presented awards to outstanding trainees and completion certificates to the trainees. It’s reported that the refresher training course was conducted from 20th November to 22nd December and a total of 564 trainees joined the training.
