Special Briefing on “Operation Sindoor

The Director Generals of all three services- Indian Army, Navy, and the Air Force briefed the nation on 'Operation Sindoor'. Air Marshal A.K. Bharti reiterated that India fights against terrorism and the terrorists. Accordingly, on May 7, India targeted only the terrorist sites. 

The Air Marshal said India’s robust air defence system effectively thwarted Pakistani attempts to target Indian installations. Further, he said that another highlight was the stellar performance of indigenous air defence systems like the Akash. 

Air Marshal also said all the military bases and systems continue to remain fully operational and ready to undertake any mission if the need arises, completely discrediting Pakistan’s claims of having struck India’s facilities.
