Spain hosts meeting on two-state solution to Israel-Palestinian conflict

Representatives of Arab and European countries, including the EU's head of diplomacy Josep Borrell. The meeting in Madrid aimed at advancing a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Speaking at a press conference, Spain's Foreign Minister described the two-state solution as "the only way to ensure a just and lasting peace in the region”.  The European Union was represented by its foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell as well as the foreign ministers of Ireland, Norway and Slovenia in addition to Spain.
