SpaceX launches resupply cargo mission to the ISS

SpaceX successfully launched a cargo spacecraft on Wednesday on a resupply mission heading to the International Space Station (ISS).The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft lifted off on a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida. it was filled with 6,000 pounds of cargo including numerous scientific experiments.

The Dragon spacecraft is expected to dock with the ISS on Saturday. The Dragon spacecraft will remain docked to the International Space Station for about five weeks before being released and splashing down in the Pacific Ocean.
