Space X launched ISRO’s advanced communication satellite GSAT-N2 from the Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida using its Falcon 9 rocket on Tuesday. This milestone marks the first commercial collaboration between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Elon Musk-owned Space X.
India’s Union Minister of state Dr Jitendra Singh took to X and congratulated ISRO and SpaceX for successful launch. He further said that collaboration between ISRO & SpaceX aims at enhancing internet services, including in remote areas as well as in-flight connectivity, with a mission lifespan of 14 years.
