The SpaceX Dragon Capsule that launched four astronauts for NASA on Thursday has docked with the International Space Station. SpaceX said the docking occurred at 10:40 p.m. Pacific Time Thursday.
The docking happened at a moment that NASA's cameras were not able to provide live pictures of the event. NASA's two astronauts are joined by one Russian cosmonaut and only the second person from the United Arab Emirates to fly to space. They will replace a U.S.-Russian-Japanese crew up there since October. The docking was briefly delayed while engineers confirmed that software was properly configured for the Space Station's docking mechanism.
