South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon was in Quito on Tuesday. During his visit to Ecuador, he meet with Ecuador's President Lenin Moreno, in a bid to boost ties between the two allies.
With Lee in Ecuador was a delegation of South Korean business leaders looking to invest in the resource-rich nation. Speaking to media, Lee touted South Korea's historic ties with Ecuador in providing earthquake relief for the country. On the itinerary for Lee in Ecuador is a visit to a new car assembly plant for Hyundai.
