South Korean man on Interpol red notice arrested in Chon Buri

A Thai Narcotics Control Board special operations team detained a South Korean man, during a raid at a resort in Chon Buri’s Bang Lamung district. Seized from him were 135 milligrams of crystal methamphetamine (Ice) and books modified to conceal drugs. 

The raid followed a request from South Korea’s Supreme Prosecutors’ Office for Thai authorities to locate Lee Chuan Sam, who is wanted in South Korea on three drug-related charges. Interpol had issued a red notice for his arrest. He is also wanted in Thailand on similar charges and has exceeded his permitted stay.
