South Korea repatriates remains of Chinese soldiers killed in Korean War

The South Korean military on Wednesday held a ceremony to hand over the remains of Chinese soldiers killed during 1950-53 Korean War to China.

Seoul's Defence Ministry said they excavated the remains of 10 Chinese soldiers and their belongings from March to November in 2018. China's Vice Minister of Veterans Affairs, and South Korea's Vice Defence Minister attended the ceremony at the Incheon International Airport. Since 2013, South Korea has returned the remains of 589 fallen soldiers.
