South Korea and US to hold joint military drills late August: defence ministry

South Korea's Ministry of National Defense announced on Thursday that Ulchi Freedom Shield 2025, a joint military exercise between the Republic of Korea and the United States, will begin on August 18. The drills will last 11 days, finishing on August 28. The exercise will include live field maneuvers, computer simulation-based command post exercises and related civil defense drills.
