Solomons PM reaffirms 'one China' principle as he meets President Xi

The new Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands, Jeremiah Manele met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. During the meeting, Manele reaffirmed his nation's comprehensive and strategic relationship with China. 

Jeremiah Manele, Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands said "The Solomon Islands values its comprehensive and strategic relations with China. And I wish to reaffirm our respect for the 'one-China' principle".

The discussions between the two leaders focused on enhancing cooperation in various sectors and further solidifying the partnership between the Solomon Islands and China.
