Solar power plant: Magwe CM inspected Minbu Solar power plant

The Magwe Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin together with the region government ministers inspected Minbu Solar energy power plant in Zee Ai Village, Minbu (Saku) Township and the responsible officials of the power plant clarified the completion of power plant construction, power generating, power transmission and implementations for the phase-2 40 Megawatt power generating.

In responding to the reports of the officials of the power plant, the chief minister tended necessary coordination, viewed the ground cleaning for phase-2 40 Megawatt power generating and instructed to complete the construction works as quickly as possible and awareness for the safety of workplace. The Minbu Solar energy power plant was planned to construct as four phases of project. After completion of projects phase-1, 2, 3 and 4, the power plant will enable to generate 170 megawatts for the local power consumption and transmission to the national grid.

Currently, the construction works had to delay due to the COVID-19. But the construction of phase-2 40 megawatts project has resumed at the middle of October, 2021.
