Socio-Economic Development: Efforts for progress of agriculture and livestock sector

For the balanced development of agriculture and livestock breeding sectors within Thanat Pin Township, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win made inspection at Auk Su Field of Thanat Pin Township on 2nd May.

The Chief Minister oversaw the thriving 50 acres multi-cropped summer paddy plantations irrigated by solar powered water pumping system, instructed on raising awareness about summer paddy multi-cropping among farmers and acceleration of multi-cropping system and provided agricultural inputs.

Then, the Chief Minister visited oil mill, rice mill and rice dryer in Buta Pine Ward, and gave instructions on producing animal feed and natural fertilizers using by-products from oil mill.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister visited a poultry farm which houses 4,000 ducks at Kamase Village, and instructed on farm expansion practicing natural breeding method to ensure regional food sufficiency.

Later, the Chief Minister visited Htet Ko Ko Blacksmith and Agricultural equipment stall, and oversaw the production of agricultural equipment. He also coordinated necessities on acquiring necessary technology assistance to produce modern equipment.
