Social Welfare: Social Mgmt. Information System practical use course

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khine on Monday addressed the Social Management Information System (SMIS) practical use course opening ceremony.

In her address, the Union Minister highlighted the Maternal and Child Cash Transfer Program since the fiscal year of 2017-2018 and the ongoing one in Kayin State, Kayah State, Chin State, Shan State, Rakhine State, Naga Self-Administered Zone and Ayeyawaddy Region and the use of Social Management Information System since the fiscal year of 2023-2024.

The Social Management Information System can easily verify the information of those who have applied for registration and resolve duplicate registrations. Due to the system that calculates the subsidy automatically, it will help a lot in getting the account checked.

This course will be carried out until the confirmation lists (Payment Sheet) of the beneficiaries are released, she added. This 6-day Social Management Information System (SMIS) practical use course till the 29th of July is joined by 109 trainees.
