Social Welfare: Providing cash assistance and inspecting schools

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided 9.8 billion kyat to Ayeyawady Region Government for Maternal and Child Cash Transfer (MCCT) program during 2024-2025 fiscal year.

In addition, a total of 2.3 billion kyat were presented for Social Pension Program. The handing over ceremony was held on 5th March with the attendance of Union Minister Dr Soe Win, who presented the cash assistance to Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win.

On 6th March, the Union Minister and officials inspected the Kan Gyi Daunk Pre-primary school building which is being constructed with the capital fund of 2024-2025 fiscal year and the Union Minister instructed the needs.

Then, they arrived at the Township Social Welfare Office in Hlaingthaya Township where the official explained about the social welfare activites being carried out within the township and the Union Minister cooridinated the needs. After that, the Union Minister and party looked into the No.1 Pre-Primary School, Halingthaya where they coordinated the requirements for the all-round development of the students.
