Social Welfare: Cash assistance for volunteer organizations in Rakhine State

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provides cash assistance for the volunteer organizations in Rakhine State for 2024-2025 fiscal year.

Chief Minister U Htein Lin attended a ceremony, held at the Home for the Aged in Sittwe on Saturday. During the ceremony over 62 million kyat cash assistance were provided for the Home for the Aged, Charity Schools and Self-reliant Pre Schools operating in Rakhine State.

The Ministry is providing assistance for the volunteer organizations depending on the annual fund allotment, in accordance with the policies and procedures. After the ceremony, the Chief Minister and party took a tour of the Home for the Aged and provided cash assistance to the elders.
