Social Security: Healthcare Services by Mobile Medical Units

The Social Security Board under the Ministry of Labour has been giving healthcare services by Mobile Medical Units at industrial zones in Yangon and Bago regions since January 1.

The Social Security Board is also giving healthcare services at ministries since January 2. On Tuesday, Union Minister U Myint Naung and officials oversaw giving healthcare services by the Board at the Ministry of Labour to 666 officials and staff.

It’s learnt that more than 1.2 million workers were covered by the Social Security Board's Social Security Plan in 2023 November which has 3 hospitals and 246 clinics. It’s reported that Social Security Board will give healthcare services at the Ministry of Transport and Communications and at the Social Security Board (Headquarter) Office from the 10th to the 15th of January.
