Snowfall forces school closures across Turkiye as children enjoy winter scenes

Heavy snowfall sweeping across Turkiye has led to the suspension of education in 14 provinces. In Van, snowfall that began overnight blanketed the city in white, with snow depth in the city centre reaching up to half a metre. Authorities announced a one-day suspension of transportation-based education on Monday.
