Smooth Transpotation: New road opened in Magway Region

Marking the 63rd Peasants’ Day, 48 ft wide Yangon-Pyay-Mandalay Road (Magway Ring Road) was opened on Saturday, with the attendance of Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and concerned officials. The ceremony was inaugurated by cutting the ceremonial ribbons.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the efforts of the Department of Highways under the Ministry of Construction to ensure smooth transportation across the nation. 

During 2024-2025 Fiscal Year,  over 33 miles of local roads and 15 bridges projects are undertaking within the region with a total of 21.853 billion kyat of Union and Region Fund to provide better transportation service for the local residents. The Chief Minister called for the systematic usage of the new facility for its long-term resilience and made a tour along the new facility.
