Smooth Process: Online Service Launched For Applying The Fire Safety Certificate

Myanmar Fire Services Department has launched a Demo Version of Online System for applying the fire safety certificate of the buildings.

The online services will cover for inspection the fire safety system and equipment being installed at the modern buildings, condominium, supermarkets, hotels, motels, guesthouses, factories, workshops, factories and fuel storage tanks as well as providing suggestion for fire safety measures and issuing the certificate.

The Demo Service of the online service can be used starting 1st September at the website of Fire Services Department, and can send suggestion to the department through email.

The system also links with the Yangon Building Permit System of Yangon City Development Committee, and the work process for building permit license could be carried out conveniently via online service. The move also aims to have smooth process of works among the related departments and organizations and to reduce mass gathering at a time of COVID-19 outbreak.
