A new wildfire has seen in the small town of Castromil in northwestern Spain. The town was placed under preventive lockdown due to the active fire in an area severely affected by the devastating wave of wildfires that hit the country, especially in August. The country endured a record 16-day heatwave last month that fuelled widlfires that killed four people and which the Carlos III Health Institute estimates caused more than 1,100 deaths.
