Small-Scale Industries Products : Laboratory tests conducted to 748 products

There are a total of 748 products already conducted laboratory tests and registered at the department of small-scale industries in 2023-2024 FY. The owners need to register their small-scale products to expand their market not only within the country but also to the international market.

Yi Yi Hlaing, Director, Small-Scale Industries Dept said " We have conducted laboratory test a total of 748 small-scale products included 620 food products, 113 consumer goods, and 15 cosmetic goods in 2023-2024 financial years. Our department can confirm that the registered products are safe for consumers and that the food products do not contain the chemicals. For the laboratory test, owners need to fill their manufacture address, name and type of products in the application form. The service fees are need to charged based on their products to be tested. The department have been participating as a member of Myanmar food laboratory network and carrying out to obtain ISO7025."

Business owners can submit their products for laboratory test and register at the department of small-scale industries in 15 regions and states across the country.
