Small Scale Industries: MoCRD holds paper reading session

Small Scale Industries Department under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development held a paper reading session on foods, consumer goods, cosmetics, lacquer, weaving and packaging. There at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, Union Minister U Hla Moe stressed the importance of technology, capital and market for the development of small scale industries.

Today's era is a technological era, so it is necessary to keep up with new technologies. In carrying out research activities, it is necessary to take into account of regional product, development of the country and the high standard of living of the people.

The State is planning to provide assistance for development of the small scale industries. He also urged the Small Scale Industries Department to work hard for the development of MSME enterprises in accordance with the economic objective that the country is taking today.

This paper reading session on foods, consumer goods, cosmetics, lacquer, weaving and packaging till March 17 by 2 MSME entrepreneurs and 6 experts covers onion-based value-added consumer goods production, development of instant cotton production, future of packaging, expansion of market through packaging, experimental production of value-added natural dried fruits with vacuum freeze dryer, testing and researching herbal cosmetic beauty products by extracting oil extract from avocado, studying and experimental research on the Myanmar resin and research and experimental production of soybean food products.
