Slight Earthquake: Magnitude 4.0 Quake Hit About 22-Mile Northwest Of Hkamti

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.0) Richter Scale struck at 9hr 27min 40sec M.S.T on Sunday, 6th October, 2019, according to the Meteorology and Hydrology Department.

According to the reports, the quake’s epicenter was measured at about 22-mile northwest of Hkamti and about 135-mile northwest of Myitkyina seismological observatory with a depth of 80-kilometer.
