Soldiers from the South Korean and US armies conduct a wet gap crossing exercise as part of the annual Ulchi Freedom Shield drills between the two countries. Commander of the US Army 11th Engineer Battalion said the training highlights the US-ROKA relationship and the strengthening of alliance.

Lt.Colonel Shawn Cook, Commander, US Army 11th Engineer Battalion said "Today's training highlights the US-ROKA relationship and the strengthening of our alliance. This wet gap crossing is one of the most complex engineering missions we do, and we've done it today in a realistic combat environment. I appreciate my partners with the ROKA, the 7th Engineer Brigade, for coming out here, partnering with us."

The exercises take place from August 18th to 28.
