Skill Enhancement Training: MoCRD Union Minister attends opening ceremony

Department of Cooperatives under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development conducted a Skill Enhancement Training course on laws and by laws issuance of coopeartive team, rules and regulations, instructions, fundamental theories and policy of cooperatives.

The opening ceremony took place at the hall of the Ministry on Wednesday with the attendance of Union Minister U Hla Moe.

In his opening speech, the Union Minister urged all trainees to pay attention to the training, to use practically at their respective fields and to pursue the knowledge from the outside continuously after the training. 

He also stressed that it is needed to work for the public to know the advantages of cooperative system by providing services. He also emphasized that as the Department of Cooperatives, it is needed to make cooperative efforts for the development of cooperative teams to improve socio economic life of the people in rural areas and to fulfill the needs of the people as much as possible. 

Then, the Director General of the Department of Cooperative clarified the ongoing cooperative projects and aims and objectives of this training course.
