Singapore's panda celebrates 2nd birthday

The first giant panda Le Le was born on14th Aug 2021 via artificial insemination in Singapore. His parents, Kai Kai and Jia Jia, are on loan from China and arrived in Singapore in 2012.

The Singapore-born panda cub celebrated his second birthday with enrichment specially prepared by the panda care team, a large bamboo cake as well as a buffet of special treats placed on banana leaves and ice blocks.

Now, the beloved panda weighs 65 kilograms. Le Le is expected to return to China after turning two under the terms of the loan, but details have not been announced yet.
