Silk Road E-Commerce Forum: MoC Union Minister addresses at the forum in Nanning

Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo who is currently in Nanning City of Guangxi Autonomous Region in People’s Republic of China attended the 2023 China-ASEAN Silk Road E-Commerce Forum on Saturday and delivered a speech.

In his speech, the Union Minister said that nowadays, e-Commerce is crucial in implementing for strengthening international cooperation. In Myanmar, digitization process have been improved obviously during recent years and the government is making efforts for the development of technology sector, attracting international investments and promoting digital trading. He also said that for widely improvement of e-commerce system on the Silk Road, member countries need to invest digital infrastructures, transnational collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurship activities.

The Forum was held with the attendence of the Union Minister for Commerce along with Vice Minister for the Ministry of Economy and Finance Mr. Li Fei, Vice Chairman of Guangxi Autonomous Region and many other officials.
