Signing Roadmap: With the purpose of peaceful utilizing nuclear energy

Aiming at the peaceful use of nuclear energy in medicine, biology, geology, agriculture, industry, environmental and scientific research, and electric power generation, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Electric Power had signed a roadmap to cooperate with the Russia's state-owned nuclear energy corporation. 

Official, Ministry of Science and Technology said "In the roadmap, we have made discussion and signing the cooperation agreement for the use of nuclear energy in the efforts of human resources development in all sectors, improvement of the public’s positive point of view on using the nuclear energy, to establish the center of nuclear technology and information, for nuclear infrastructure development plans including the feasibility assessment for the construction of small nuclear power plant in Myanmar."

The signing cooperation agreements for the related sectors with the private and government agencies of Russian Federation during the 7th Eastern Economic Forum held in Russia's far eastern city of Vladivostok, it’s reported.
