The MOA signing ceremony for Myanmar Youth Techno-entrepreneurship Development Program 2018 was held at KaNuang Hub, MICT park in Yangon on Monday.
Myanmar Youth Techno-entrepreneurship Development Program 2018 was held in a partnership between MPT and Myanmar Computer Federation (MCF). Now, it has successfully raised the three young entrepreneurship businesses with the highest potential.
Deputy Manager, Legal and Communication Dept, Moe Thura said “We expected that the three awarded teams to become businesses which can compete on the existing market with the support of Myanmar Youth Techno-entrepreneurship Development Program 2018. They had a chance to step in the real business.”
President, MCPA, Thaung Su Nyein said “We believe Myanmar youth are very smart, go well with technology. They just need a chance to show off their skills. They could be successful business owners if they get the working space, right leadership and mentoring. That's why we started this program.”
One of the three selected teams, Digi Tech is developed by young Techno-entrepreneurs Kaung Myat San, Aung Khant and Hein Thu.
Chief Executive Officer, Digi Tech, Kaung Myat San said “Digi Cafe is a mobile application. The app will introduce e-gamers to each other. Gamers can use this app to search for the nearest e-sport centers and book the seats online. The three selected teams including us will be provided with free co-working space for six months at Kanaung Hub, under the management of MCF.”
MPT and MCF will also keep trying to support these three start-ups training and technological support as necessary for market penetration, market expansion and technology updates.
