Signing the book of condolence: SAC Secretary signed the book of condolence

On behalf of the Chairman of the State Administration Council, General Aung Lin Dwe, the Secretary of the State Administration Council, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, arrived at the Embassy of India Liaison Office, situated at the Park Royal Hotel, Dekhina Thiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw at 12 pm on 30th December to sign the book of condolence for the passing of Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of the Republic of India, who passed away on 26 December 2024.

The Secretary of the State Administration Council was welcomed by Ms. Ritu Yadav, First Secretary, Head of the Indian Liaision Office and officials. Following this, the Secretary of the State Administration Council met with Ms. Ritu Yadav, and officials of the Indian Embassy in a cordial meeting.

He also conveyed a message of condolence and sympathy from the Chairman of the State Administration Council for the recent passing of former Prime Minister of the Republic of India and signed the book of condolence. Dr. Manmohan Singh served as the Prime Minister of the Republic of India from 2004 to 2014 and paid a goodwill visit to Myanmar in 2012.
