




Steve Bruemmer was released from Natividad Medical Rehab Center in California on Wednesday. He was bit by a shark on June 22 of this year at Lovers Point Beach near Monterey, California. He thanked good Samaritans and first responders in his first interview.
Steve Bruemmer , shark attack victim said "I was in a tough spot and they were so caring and I'm going home now but I want to thank Natividad and the good Samaritans and the people on the beach and that lead footed ambulance driver. Without all of you I don't make it, and the blood donors oh thank you so much. I'm going home, I'm going to recover, I'm going to be ok. Thanks to you all.”
Two paddle-boarders, a nurse and a police officer and a surfer on the beach came over to assist him to shore after the attack. Doctors repaired Bruemmer's thighs so that he might walk again.
