Sharing Knowledge: Launching of Myanmar Competition Commission Website

The launching ceremony of the Myanmar Competition Commission (MMCC) Website was held at the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday with the attendance of Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister in his capacity as Chairman of the MMCC stressed that the Competition Law is enacted to ensure fair, systematic and positive market competition, to protect the interest of the nation and to secure the uniform progress in processing for prosperity of the entrepreneurs.

Inpromulgating the Competition Law, awareness discussion programs are being conducted as a primary task. As sharing knowledge through websites is also apart of the program, MMCC Website was developed to share the required information in a timely manner and to receive the competition complaints by connecting the related websites within ASEAN Region and organizations.
